Ok, sure, automobiles were created to drive you to a destination. They are the products of an industrialized world that makes a profit out of creating things and more profit out of replacing these machines.
O yes, the design value has aesthetic appeal but some just think it is a tool for the planned need to change as design goes out of style.
The important truth here is that design that comes to us because it was commissioned for functional purposes does not mean that the design isn’t art. Functionality does not disqualfy art.
Cars and art share something that very few other things do. Their design comes largely from the soul of their creators and in then the finished product speaks to our souls.
These creations of hands and intellect become things that are not alive, but yet they serve to remind us that we are.

Because it is the expression and application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture and an inspiring automobile, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.
The creation is more than the making of the car. It has a great deal to do with the design and then how that design makes us feel.

Back in the day, it had to be a 2 door. Then it also might have been stripped of the front bumper and the hood ornament. The seats could have been done in a white tuck and rolled Naugahyde (that resembled leather).
It could have had white wall tires or perhaps slicks on the back.
