Before you even plant a seed, you have to desire to cultivate it and to have what will grow from it, which is more critical in this process: wanting what the seed can bring, producing the basis, or being patient and staying the course, tending to the source, watering it, and caring for its ability to grow. The world doesn’t lack wannabe gardeners. Just planting seeds is not enough to get the results.
To reach the goals we plant, the essential thing in the process is to stay the course. To get to the desired destination, patience is also needed. Personal improvement is like tending our garden.
Personal improvement requires an effective mission statement that must be an explicit, concise declaration about your business strategy. The information will reflect your life goals when you put together a mission statement for your life.
Reaching the goals and accomplishing the things in the mission statement may or may not happen, but the goal should be to get closer each day. Be better today than you were yesterday. Improve your overall self at least 1% each day.
