In the 1950's there were Ford People and Chevy People. The sporty Thunderbirds and Corvettes took this to another level.
So which brand prevailed? Well, if it hadn't been for the Corvette, the Thunderbird never would have been born. And if it hadn't been for the Thunderbird, the Corvette would have died in infancy.
