Kean and I worked together a couple of years ago to create his website, which offers some insight into this post.

Kean lives in the Greater Salt Lake City area. He came with his family to settle in the United States from his home in the Ivory Coast and to further his education, gaining a degree in Sales and IT. Kean is a visionary, goal achiever, and natural networker who intends to keep learning to improve his potential. He likes to be called “ a farm boy” because of his extensive experience of growing up on his family farm, helping his parent with the hard work, and setting up the first cocoa and coffee co-op in his hometown, where he learned firsthand of the sufferings of those complex working families. At this point, he wants to pay back and show gratitude. His new home is now in the United States of America.

As founder and chairman of Bridges Africa, he is working to bring people, values, and opportunities to focus on adding his “stones to the building of help the cooperation between USA-Africa” and for this to happen more quickly, allowing both continents to benefit and leverage opportunities and change lives.

We have experiences from both continents, having lived and worked there, and we are now bringing those experiences and talents to our partners to help collaboration between these continents.”

After reflecting upon the possibilities to help people, organizations, and opportunities to come together, we decided to launch Bridges Africa, a United States of America Tax exemption -501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation which is on a mission “to promote trade and cultural exchange between our US-based partners and our partners based on the Continent of Africa.”
