The Cool Cars are in the Garage

July 3, 2018 Brent Jones

Great color. Hiding in a garage. Someone will likely come out and start it if they get a visit from someone who they care about. Some few of the visitors will get to take a ride in it, around the block.

Old or New, Both with stories to ponder and imagine

Which car is really the more interesting car? Both open our imagination. The old car has more history. The old car could tell stories from places we have never been. They both got my attention today

It can be be challenging to own a 4 door when the cool cars are 2 doors. Life was complicated in the early 60's.

A neighbor's car, an area car show. Just liking to see cool cars all contribute to collecting car pictures

Found in a Parking Lot

This truck has several stories for sure. The one that matters most to me is how I found this truck and how I got the picture. I arrived at Barnes & Noble one morning about a year ago first thing. As we parked our car this truck was in front of us backed into a parking place in an out of the way place.  What a find. Great Picture. The picture is "mine" now.

Ok, yes this one was also found in a parking lot but to be fair I need to admit it was a parking lot in the area where I live that was being used for a "car show".  I was struck with how totally awesome the color of this car made the whole experience so powerful. What a great car.

Yellow! Wow again. The colors that seem at first glance so "not what the stock car would have ever had" sure do make the car "pop". Love the image.  Again in a parking lot, same car show as above.

Henry Ford said:

"You can have it in any color you want, as long as it is black." "I will build a car for the great multitude." "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses."

Obviously the Orange Ford was not orange in 1927.
