Eyeglasses already provide things that were not long ago thought of as something that the future would provide. These types of glasses do not try to improve prescription lenses. Still, they are created to integrate with technology to allow the user to connect to the Internet, view files, take pictures, make videos, or even play past videos, with the results and images seen by the person wearing the glasses right on the lens.

Contact lenses are currently being developed to create virtual reality experiences. Smart contact lenses are fitted with sensors to read chemical levels in tears and determine if blood sugar levels have changed.

Precognition has been widely believed in throughout history, but scientific evidence is still lacking to validate it. What if a link to the brain could be identified where parapsychology studies might uncover a link to future events like sometimes found in dreams about the future that come true. If this could happen, perhaps glasses could show us what is all around us today and tomorrow.
