Incognito is a Mode

Incognito mode, or private browsing, is a web browser setting that prevents browsing activity from being saved on your device or to a Google account you're not signed into.

This means your browsing history, search history, cookies, cached pages, and other activity data won't be recorded. Incognito mode also disables other trackers, temporary files, and third-party toolbars.
